These terms apply when you use JukeWave. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. JukeWave is operated by 20 Arches. Contact contact@20arches.com with questions.
JukeWave lets venues run shared music rooms. Guests can suggest and vote for songs, while the venue manages the queue and connects its own music service and playback equipment. A venue decides what may be played in its room and can remove or block a song, skip playback, force a different song, clear the queue, or close the room.
Keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate account information. You are responsible for activity through your account. Do not misuse the service, interfere with other users, evade a venue's restrictions, or submit unlawful, abusive or infringing material. We may suspend access when reasonably needed to protect users, venues or the service.
You can delete your account in your profile. Deletion removes access and account content as described in the Privacy Notice. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained for legal, accounting or dispute purposes.
Venues are responsible for the music service account, equipment, and permissions needed to play music at their premises. JukeWave does not supply music or grant public performance rights. Follow the terms of the connected music service and obtain any licences required for your venue. The service depends on third parties, and they may restrict access or playback.
Points are an in-app balance used for votes. One hundred points buys one paid vote. Points are not cash, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and do not expire. Purchased points are account-wide and can be used in JukeWave rooms.
A vote affects queue order; it does not guarantee a song will play. If a queued song is removed before it plays, paid votes on that song are returned to your point balance. Votes on songs that play are spent. A venue can still exercise its room controls.
Pro provides the features shown on the Pro page, currently including coloured names and profile-image frames, twice the free vote allowance, Pro themes, listening statistics, and one weekly veto. A Pro plan is a one-off purchase, not a recurring subscription. “Month” is 30 days and “year” is 365 days. Your access starts when the purchase is completed; extending early adds time after your current expiry. The price and any points applied are shown before you confirm payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
Bar admins and JukeWave admins may grant Pro access for 30 days, 365 days, or indefinitely at no charge to the recipient. They may also remove or restore a veto's queue priority. These staff actions do not create a payment or reset a user's weekly veto allowance.
A signed-in Pro account can veto one queued song per week, measured from Monday 00:00 UTC. Vetoed songs keep their order ahead of ordinary votes and survive room vote countdowns. Other users' vetoed songs line up behind earlier vetoes. Once a vetoed song starts, its weekly use is spent. Venue staff can skip or block it; if they do, the song leaves the queue and that weekly use remains spent. Removing a veto's priority also leaves the weekly use spent. Staff can explicitly reapply a veto to restore its queue priority, but this does not grant another weekly use. A veto is subject to venue controls and music-service availability, so playback cannot be guaranteed when staff intervene or the provider cannot play the song.
Pro and point purchases are confirmed before you are sent to payment. Pro payments are one-off; they do not renew automatically. Stripe handles card details. If you think a payment is wrong or want to cancel a purchase, contact contact@20arches.com with the account email and transaction details. We will review the request and explain any refund due.
Consumer cancellation rights depend on the type of purchase and applicable law. Where you have a statutory right to cancel, these terms do not remove it. If you ask us to start a service during a cancellation period, the law may allow a proportionate charge for what has already been supplied. Digital-content cancellation rules can differ. Statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed digital services and content are not affected.
Where a checkout expires or is cancelled before payment, any points held for that checkout are returned automatically. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's rights under applicable law.
We work to keep JukeWave available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that a third-party music provider will always respond. We may change features for future purchases. Changes do not shorten a Pro period already paid for. We may update these terms; material changes will be presented before they apply to new purchases or continued use where required by law.
